Alexus Smith

Owner & Administrator · BBA, MBA, MN, RN

Alexus brings together a finance and business foundation with graduate nursing education and registered nurse practice. That combination shapes how Naviah runs: clinical judgment informs how care needs are understood, and operational discipline keeps scheduling, documentation, and follow-up reliable.

As administrator, Alexus oversees hiring standards, caregiver training, service delivery, and the quality review process directly.

"Members should keep directing their own lives. Our job is to make that possible — safely, respectfully, and consistently."

Our Mission

To promote independence, dignity, and safety for every member we serve by providing consistent, respectful, non-medical care in the place they call home.

Our approach

We start by understanding the member's authorization and service plan, then build a schedule and caregiver match that fit real life. We stay in contact with families and case managers, document what happens, and adjust when needs change.

Supportive Home Care and Personal Care Services are available now. Wisconsin Medicaid billing is not yet available.

How We Operate

Standards we hold ourselves to.

These are working standards — the way our office runs every week, not aspirations on a wall.

01

Client-centered planning

Care follows the member's routines, preferences, and authorized service plan. Schedules and caregiver assignments are built around the person, not around staffing convenience.

02

Quality and safety

Supervisory check-ins, documentation review, incident follow-up, and corrective action keep service delivery consistent and accountable.

03

Caregiver readiness

Caregivers complete a Wisconsin caregiver background check, orientation, and competency review before assignment, with continued training as needs change.

04

Clear communication

Families, guardians, and case managers get straight answers about what we can provide, when, and under what authorization.
